Down Beatz Support

BE FULL OUT ON COUNT ONE. Down Beatz lets a coach broadcast voice to a team's phones and Bluetooth earbuds, with synced competition music, section channels, a broadcast metronome, and a warm-up timer — with no special hardware beyond phones, earbuds, and a portable router.

Getting started

1. Download Down Beatz from the App Store.
2. Put every phone on the same local WiFi network — at competition, that is your team's portable travel router, not the venue WiFi.
3. The coach creates a session. Members join with the session code.
4. Coach voice, music, and metronome are shared live over that local network.

If a phone will not connect

• Check every phone is on the same WiFi network as the coach phone.
• If the network has no internet, use Airplane Mode ON with WiFi ON, then rejoin the network.
• Quit and reopen the app, then rejoin the session.
• Make sure no phone is on cellular data instead of the team WiFi.

This App Store test version is free to try. There is no account, no purchase, and no website purchase step to use it. Paid team pricing will come later, before the full launch.
